The PGL Major Krakow champions leave MDL after just eight matches in order to focus on their upcoming offline events, according to ESEA. Gambit were sitting in 21st place in the league, with a 3-5 record, and had a triple-header of games scheduled for today, against EURONICS, FriendlyFire and PRIDE. Gambit leave ESEA MDL to focus on their next events With this decision, Gambit will be removed from the league at the end of the season and sent down to the Open division. However, there is still a chance that they can claim a spot in one of the higher divisions (Main, Intermediate or Advanced) via a process similar to the invitation system that was in place this season. Gambit are currently preparing for ESL One Cologne, with their first match pitting them against MOUZ. The Kazakhstani team have two offline tournaments scheduled for August, IEM Shanghai and DreamHack Masters Stockholm.
